Tara Ziegmont

Tara is a wife and a mother of two small girls. In 2011, she left a 10-year career as a high school science teacher to be an at-home mom, professional blogger, SEO specialist, and social media consultant.

Online since the mid-90′s, Tara has been publishing her blog, Feels Like Home, for nearly 4 years. She also owns and manages Harrisburg Area Moms Blog. Her blog has been nationally syndicated, and her writing has appeared on BabyCenter’s Momformation blog, DaySpring’s (in)courage blog, and BlogHer.com, in addition to numerous personal blogs.

An active member of the mom blogging community, Tara enjoys encouraging and mentoring new bloggers by attending and speaking at industry events including Type-A Parent Conference, Savvy Blogging Summit, and Bloggy Boot Camp.

Currently serving as an Ambassador for Similac Strong Moms and Arm & Hammer’s Switch to Save program, a Blogger Advocate for Mizkan, and a member of MomAgenda’s Council of Media Moms, Tara is the featured Life at Home blogger at Sonsi Living.
